We offer a fully equipped home with full kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, & a huge deck overlooking the heated 10ft deep pool and lake. We love Porters Lake and we're sure you will too!

The Space
You'll have sole access to this 2-bed, 2-bath home with cozy woodstove, heat-pump, full Wi-Fi access, and all the amenities you'll need for a great stay. (I have an apartment just up the lane so I can be nearby if you need anything.)  

This home is ideally suited for a couples' weekend away, family vacation, or as a home base for your travels in this beautiful part of our province.

Guest Access
Full and sole access to the home, including the completely outfitted kitchen (and outdoor BBQ), 2 bedrooms, 2 baths (master bath has a jet tub), and common spaces.

There's also a pool house down by the heated 10ft deep pool & a dock for swimming and boating (BYOB- Bring Your Own Boat!) in the lake as well.

Other Things To Note
The indoor dining room offers seating for 4, and the deck offers al fresco dining for up to 10 people. We also have folding chairs for additional indoor seating if needed.

Such a quaint space! You will find a fully equipped kitchen , living , dining and master bedroom with your own ensuite. Upstairs there's two queen beds, and a double/single bunk bed, and a bathroom with a clawfoot tub!

Please note we require quiet time at 10 pm out of the respect of our neighbors, and do not allow parties or events at the property, max 9 guests at the property.

Please check nova scotia burn site before starting any fires, please also bring your own wood.

Located East Of Halifax, approximately a 45 minute drive from Halifax or the airport, where the housing density is low and privacy is high. 


Many beaches are within a 30 - 40 minute drive, both east and west of Halifax. Martinique Beach is the highlight of the Eastern Shore area and receives a number of visitors on most summer days especially when the weather is pleasant. The beach is  definitely one of the best in Nova Scotia.


The locals are among the friendliest on earth. So, please, be respectful of neighbours who live nearby. Enjoy yourselves, but please keep the noise to a reasonable level after 10:00PM.
